Your message is on the way!
I am so excited to begin this conversation with you. Working with a copywriter will provide you so many benefits, even if you just have an initial conversation! Fill out the form and I’ll get back to you ASAP.
If you’re scratching your head wondering what the heck a copywriter does you’re not alone! I get this question almost every single time I tell someone I’m a copywriter. Pretty much only copywriters and CMOs know what we do.
A copywriter writes content that is tailored towards encouraging an outcome or an action from the reader. The main difference between copy and content writing is that content writing can be informative or entertaining without the end goal of inspiring an action.
There are lots of different types of writing that copywriters can do for businesses, including:
Blog posts
Web pages
Email sequences
Newsletters
Product descriptions
Social media captions
Reports
White papers
Landing pages
Video Scripts
Podcast Scripts
Ad text
Articles
Press releases
FAQs
Copy brand guides
And, to avoid boring you to tears with an even longer list, just know that if you want something written with a lot of intention, there is likely a copywriter who does that type of writing well.
Listen, any good copywriter will tell you that if you’re writing copy for something you don’t believe in, you start to feel gross. And by good I mean like, morals good, not like, capable of producing results.
It was important for me to embark on this journey with a moral compass so I didn’t end up surrounded by ick and yuck and things I didn’t believe in. My ultimate motive isn’t to make money. I’m here to help protect the planet, just like you.
So I write for sustainable businesses and businesses who champion sustainability because I truly believe that if we don’t do something to reverse climate change… well… we’re going to have a bad time.
Copywriting for sustainable businesses also allows me to partner with some of the brightest and most interested entrepreneurs in the world. I love getting the opportunity to make your products, knowledge, and services shine through relatable, authoritative, and approachable copy.
Shorter form projects take one week (a blog post, social media copy, an email sequence). Bigger projects, obviously, take longer. If you’ve got a bigger project, book a call or fill out a form so we can talk about timing.
Sustainable brands need copywriters for a lot of reasons. First of all, running a business has always been considered hard. But running a sustainable business is a different ball game. Why? Because you’re doing everything the right way. You’re going above and beyond to use the best products, do the most good, offset the most carbon, plus everything else a normal business owner does. Don’t stress yourself out by adding copywriting to your list.
Also, it’s hard to tell a great story. I’ve seen many sustainable businesses struggle with it. They have a hard time explaining all the good that they do, in enough places, and regularly enough that people find it. Let me help you craft your great story.
Third, a copywriter can help you reach your goals. Whether you’re hoping to increase traffic to your website, increase brand loyalty with social, generate more sales with email, increase your funnel traffic with a white paper, your goals are our job. We are successful when you’re successful.
A couple of my favorite copywriting fun facts include:
- Regularly updating your blog can organically increase your website traffic.
- Open and click through rates are often 2x higher for a welcome sequence than any other email
- Content marketing costs 62% less than traditional marketing tactics while still generating 3x more leads.
You don’t have to do everything on your own. I’m here to help.
Paid marketing works as long as you are putting money into it. Once you stop putting money into it, it stops producing results.
This is not the case when you work with a copywriter. Evergreen blog posts will continually generate traffic to your website. White papers will help you continue to move potential clients through our sales funnel. Writing great emails will allow you to continually reach out to those on your email list.
I’d be lying if I didn’t say it was a long term investment, but it’s the best investment you can make for your business to increase your traffic, sales, and brand awareness.
I completely understand if you don’t know where to start when it comes to your copywriting needs. I can do a free audit of your website and copywriting to help you understand where your consumers may be getting lost or where you can increase your results. You don’t have to know anything below. We can plan together!
If you know what copywriting services you’re interested in, it’s helpful to share with me:
- Which copywriting services you’re interested in
- Any important deadlines
- The budget you’re hoping to stay within
- Subjects or ideas (for things like blogs, white papers, and email sequences)
But, as I mentioned before, it’s ok if you’re unsure on a couple of these things. We’ll outline what to expect together.
If you want to save time, have a better work/life balance, expand your reach, increase your product adoption, develop brand loyalty, tell better stories, sell more products/services, and save the planet…
Yes.
Yes.
I have been writing blogs for over 6 years.
I worked in a Writing Center for 5 years (what up deep understanding of citations!)
I worked as a social media manager for 3 years.
I worked as a community manager for 2 years.
I’ve been professionally copywriting since 2021.
I’ve been developing my copywriting skills in each position and each one made me better at creating communities, sharing information, and telling stories. I’d be happy to tell you the long winded version of the story on a call.
I’m not a social media manager. Copywriting and SEO best practices are a lot to keep track of. Managing social on a full time basis is a whole different set of skills. I would highly recommend finding a social media manager to do all of your social media marketing, rather than a copywriter.
That being said, I often partner with social media managers to help them write content, and you can receive caption support if you bundle a couple of my services.
But I don’t *just* do social for anyone. It’s not my jam.
I like to be super transparent about my services because I’d never want to waste your time. To find out how much my services cost, check out my services page. If there’s something you’re interested in that isn’t listed, fill out a form so I can provide you with a quote!
I sure do! I actually have 5 years of experience working at a Writing Center, so I’m really good at giving constructive feedback on your own writing while also making you a stronger writer. I’d love to help you polish up your blogs before they head out into the world!
Absolutely. If you’re ready to show up as an authority in your industry (you know, without having to do the painstaking work of writing everything) I’m ready to help you shine!
And there’s no need to “feel bad” about it. You’ll be a part of determining the subjects we write on. You’ll have a say in what gets written from outline to edits. While this can be an independent process, you can also be a part of it as much as you’d like to be!
Or I can take a project and run with it. Whatever feels best to you.
For long form copy I’m available for:
- Long blog posts (1,500+ words)
- White papers
- Landing pages
- Longer product descriptions (for complicated products)
- E-books
- Scripts
- More!
If you have a need on here that isn’t listed, reach out! I’ll likely be interested or know someone who would be.
The writing is all yours! I am providing a service to you. The writing is the final product. When everything is said and done, you’ll be the owner of the work I’ve created.
1. You leave this little FAQ page and book a call or fill out a form.
2. I’ll get back to you within 48 business hours.
3. We’ll hash out the details of your project or needs (or discover them if you’re unsure). We’ll also come up with a test project.
4. Once the test project is complete (great news, you loved it), then we’ll sign a contract for the scope of the rest of the work!
5. You’ll receive excellent, sustainable copy. Pow!
Copywriting is writing with an intent to persuade an action from the reader. This style of writing is often better for trying to sell or inspire action.
Content writing is used to entertain or inform the reader. This style of writing is often better for building brand loyalty.
Good news - I do both.
You sure can! Fill out a form or book a call?! What are you still doing on my FAQ page!? I’m ready to meet you!
